With great excitement, we are delivering today the version 2 of the CheckDot blockchain. This major update brings significant improvements in performance and security, along with expanded features to meet the growing needs of our community. The new capabilities and features include:
- Consensus
- Peer-to-Peer Networks
- Delegation / Staking of CDT on validator nodes
- Node Interface Management
Consensus:
Version 2 of CheckDot introduces a consensus mechanism based on an initial system of elected validators. This temporary validator election process allows us to ensure a smooth and secure transition before the full implementation of pure Proof of Stake (PoS). The current system also makes it easier to manage bug reports, thereby improving the reliability of the network at a faster pace.
Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Networks:
One of the major strengths of this new version is the optimization of peer-to-peer communications, providing faster data transmission while reducing bottlenecks. Thanks to this improved architecture, CheckDot ensures increased robustness and fault tolerance, making the network more resilient to attacks or interruptions. Each validator node can seamlessly interact with other participants, contributing to a truly distributed environment. You also can see the network map here
CDT Delegation and Staking:
With version 2, users can now delegate their CDT tokens to validator nodes (see the explorer interface under the Staking tab), allowing them to participate in the consensus process while earning rewards proportional to their contribution. This feature encourages greater participation from CDT holders in securing the network and enhancing its decentralization. Whether you’re a technical user or not, delegation and staking offer a simple and effective way to contribute to the network’s growth while benefiting from passive income.
Node Interface Management:
For more intuitive management, we have introduced a simplified node management interface. This interface will enable node operators to easily monitor and configure their systems, making node operation more accessible to a wider range of users. Node interface management includes advanced tools to track network performance, view staking statistics, and manage configurations more transparently.
This update marks a key milestone in our vision for CheckDot, where security, decentralization, and efficiency are at the heart of our priorities. The continuous evolution of the network promises to bring even more impactful innovations in the future, with features such as the full implementation of Proof of Stake, which will be the next milestone on our roadmap.

Airdrop for Top Contributors:
To reward the efforts and active participation of our community during the development phase (Devnet), we are thrilled to announce an exclusive Airdrop that will be offered to the top participants in the final ranking. This Airdrop will be distributed to the most engaged and high-performing users on the network. Although we have not yet announced the end date of the Devnet nor the exact amount of the rewards, this information will be shared in a future post.
In the meantime, we encourage you to continue exploring all the new features of version 2 of the CheckDot blockchain and help us fine-tune the network for production release. We wish everyone an excellent Devnet, and remind you that your feedback is essential to improve the user experience. Feel free to report bugs and share your suggestions via our official Telegram group.
